Urban and operational project management mission for the realization of the ZAC Château in Rezé (44).

The district of the Castle in Rezé is a social housing district, under the priority geography under the city policy (Qpv), comprising approximately 1,545 dwellings and 2,967 inhabitants.

Nantes Métropole and the city of Rezé undertake the urban renewal of the north sector of the district, part of a global project (education, health, employment ...), with the objective of making Rezé Castle a pleasant neighborhood to live in, attractive, sustainable, open to all and for all.

This operation will be carried out as part of a ZAC procedure, the creation of which will be proposed to the Community Council in October 2019.

Its realization will be entrusted to the SPLA Loma, whose concession treaty must be proposed to the approval of the same council.

The preliminary studies carried out by the Metropolis, and successively entrusted to the agency Jacques Boucheton Architects, the cabinet Box Landscapes and Artelia study office, helped define the issues and objectives of the urban project: strengthening the centrality and services and activities, renovation of the social housing stock, diversification of housing and social mix, development of quality public spaces.

The issues of nature in the city on the one hand, and citizen dialogue on the other, are major issues in the realization of the project.

A supporting document of the last public meeting held on 4 .7.2019 is attached as well as the master plan and the provisional program drawn up by JBA.

The expected benefits are:

- urban studies and coordination of construction projects,

- project management of public spaces,

- communication and citizen participation on the urban project,

- general coordination mission of the project.

For information, the overall budget of public facilities of any kind to be realized is estimated at the stage of studies prior to the creation of the ZAC to 7 000 000 EUR HT.
