Coordination and administration of model funding
"Carrier-specific, innovative projects" for the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport Baden-Württemberg.
In the years 2021 and 2022, up to 50 model locations for carrier-specific, innovative projects in Baden-Württemberg day-care centers are to receive funding from the pool for innovation projects within the framework of the so-called "Good Kita Law".
The aim of the project is to increase quality in the various dimensions of the understanding of quality. The decisive factor is the process quality, which describes everything that takes place in the educational work in the broader sense. The structural quality, the situation-dependent and temporally relatively stable framework conditions such as size and organization of the group, personnel key, training and professional experience of the educational staff as well as the rooms and equipment of the day-care center. The quality of orientation, which relates to the educational ideas, values and beliefs of the educational professionals and their image of the child.
The objectives of the projects should take up these 3 dimensions and make specific development statements. The thematic and content-related orientation of the projects relates to the interim report by the federal and state governments “Further develop early education and secure it financially” and the action objectives formulated therein. Against the background of quality development, the projects can be selected from different areas (organizational-structural project, personnel-oriented project, content-oriented project), whereby a link between the areas, as well as an expansion within the framework of the Good Daycare Act, is possible.
Any structural measures as well as ongoing projects or projects that are already funded by the federal or state governments are excluded from funding.
The model funding is aimed at individual or several day-care centers or facility associations, sponsors and sponsoring associations who are interested in improving the quality of educational work through a sponsor-specific, innovative project and would like to be supported by process support. A sponsoring association has the opportunity to apply for a project that can be carried out in several day-care centers.
A pre-selection of the projects to be funded is made in coordination with the service point. The final selection of the projects to be funded in the future is the responsibility of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, as both a legal review and a review of the requirements of the Good Daycare Act must be carried out. For the selection of the projects to be funded, representatives of the municipal state associations, the church sponsoring associations, the independent sponsors and the KVJS - State Youth Welfare Office are included in the review committee in an advisory and auditing manner.
We are looking for a contractor who manages and coordinates the model funding of up to 50 model locations nationwide in Baden-Württemberg as a service point for “carrier-specific, innovative projects” in accordance with the current quality framework and funding guidelines of the Ministry of Culture (see Annex 11).
