Im Neuenheimer Feld 104, 69120 Heidelberg, Heidelberg, University, new building Heidelberg for Life (H4L), 1st construction phase, architectural services according to Part 3 Section 1 HOAI, work phases 5-9: The new building project is located in Neuenheimer Feld, north of the Neckar, a district in which a large part of the university hospitals and facilities of Heidelberg University are located. For the university's Center for Molecular Biology (ZMBH), a new research building "Heidelberg for Life" (H4L) is to be built in addition to the existing building INF 6282, in two construction phases with the associated outdoor facilities. Only the 1st construction phase will be planned and implemented in this process. The planned building includes research laboratories for biochemical, molecular and cell biology work, the necessary auxiliary and office space as well as shareable communication areas. The overall planning has been completed up to and including LP4 HOAI. In this procedure, the architectural services will be re-awarded from LP 5 onwards, and there are no plans for the previous architects to continue to participate. Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-2025.
