University of Jyväskylä seeks a complete turn-key, stand-alone, low-temperature scanning tunneling microscope capable of operating at temperatures below 4.5 kelvin, including sample preparation facilities for research and scientific experiments at the University of Jyväskylä, Nanoscience center. The STM must contain optical access with high collection efficiency by mounting a lens (or mirror) with a piezo motor on the SPM stage under low temperature, and high vacuum. The STM may contain the capability of applying an external magnetic field without compromising the high collection efficiency as an option.

The system will be installed at the University of Jyväskylä, Nanoscience center.

Contracting authority (JYU) may suspend the procurement procedure if the tenders exceed the budget available for the procurement.
