Eksport Kredit Fonden (EKF) hereby invites to tender for two partial Framework Agreements (lots) for Reinsurance Brokerage. The scope of the assignment and service is for 1 or 2 awarded Reinsurance Broker(s) to assist EKF with upcoming tenders and negotiations on reinsurance of EKF's guarantee portfolio and the daily administration of such reinsurances. Furthermore, to support EKF's monitoring of the portfolio risk as well as risk transfer operations.
As a result, this tender is divided into 2 lots of:
1) Brokerage on Treaty reinsurance (the Treaty Framework Agreement — estimated value of 20 000 000 DKK - 25 000 000 DKK), and
2) Brokerage on Facultative reinsurance (the Facultative Framework Agreement — estimated value of 15 000 000 DKK - 20 000 000 DKK).
The awarded Broker on the Treaty Framework Agreement (Reinsurance Broker on Treaty reinsurance) shall assist EKF on matters relating to EKF's treaty reinsurance, including but not limited to assisting on the structuring of a tender on treaty reinsurance, which is expected to be facilitated in late 2016 (and then again the following years) and to act as intermediary between EKF and the reinsurers, with the negotiation of terms on this matter and to act as an intermediary between EKF and the reinsurers during the term of reinsurance agreement.
The awarded Broker on the Facultative Framework Agreement (Reinsurance Broker on on facultative reinsurance) shall assist EKF on matters relating to EKF's facultative reinsurance, including but not limited to assisting on the structuring of tenders on facultative reinsurance (single transactions), which is expected to be facilitated in late 2016. Furthermore, to act as intermediary between EKF and the reinsurers, with the negotiation of terms before the signing of an agreement and to act as an intermediary between EKF and the reinsurer during the term of reinsurance agreement. EKF expects that the upcoming tender on facultative reinsurance will be established as a framework agreement with ongoing ‘mini tenders’ (reopening of the award procedure for each single transaction).
