This tender concerns a framework agreement for the supply and storage of brand new kitchen bags made of environmentally friendly recycled plastic to Middelfart Municipality, Waste & Recycling.
The kitchen bags must be suitable for household collection of food waste (KOD) from households in Middelfart Municipality. The kitchen bags must be delivered as bundles in cover bags with 2 rolls of kitchen bags, and the kitchen bags have printed the Customer's logo, etc.
For the purpose of storing deliveries of kitchen bags, the Supplier must establish a flue warehouse.
The flue warehouse must be located less than 300 km from the address of the Orderer, unless a higher distance is agreed with the Ordering Entity. The flue warehouse must not be located on a non-bridged island. Partly to minimise the Customer's transport costs for delivery from flue stock, and partly to reduce the delivery time for partial deliveries.
In Middelfart Municipality, a household collection of food waste was introduced in 2020. In this context, there is a need to purchase plastic bags for the collection of food waste in household kitchens and the like ("kitchen bags").
Waste & Recycling wants to buy durable and dense kitchen bags that are produced from 100% recyclable plastic (post consumer recycled plastic "PCR").
The kitchen bags must be suitable for collecting food waste (fruit and vegetables, coffee filters, eggshells, seafood, fat and gravy, bones, meat, cut flowers, etc.). in kitchen bins, waste racks etc. in the household, and the construction must be durable and leak resistant when transporting the bag from the kitchen etc. to the waste container. It must be possible to hang kitchen bags in kitchen buckets or bags.
The contracting authority attaches importance to a high level of service to the citizens of the municipality. For the Client, a high level of service to citizens means, among other things, that the kitchen bags are robust and suitable for packaging food waste. And that the bags are easy to handle for citizens on a daily basis, including that tearing off a bag from the roll and opening the bag must be easy and effortless. For the purpose of assessing this situation, the Ordering Entity will have the opportunity to have the technical characteristics of the kitchen bags analysed.
The Supplier must be able to stock the kitchen bags for the Customer. The kitchen bags must be produced and delivered to the supplier's flue warehouse no later than 10 weeks after the conclusion of the contract and for partial deliveries on time and in accordance with Appendix 1 – Draft Framework Agreement.
