Kungälv Energi AB is planning for a new thermal plant at Munkegärdeverket. The procurement refers to a full plant supply for district heat production containing a solid-fuel-fired hot water boiler with flue gas liquefaction (P5) including peripherals and fuel management systems (fuel storage and tip pocket), as well as an oil boiler (P6) including the cistern.

The P5 shall have a district heat production of about 14 MW and be fired with moist forest fuels. The P6 should be fired with HVO or Eo1 and capable of producing about 10 MW of district heating.
