Kuopion Electrogrid Oy (KSV) will build a new 110 kV substation as a KVR acquisition. The old existing air-insulated switch plant will be replaced by a new GIS type switch plant during 2022-2023. The new 110kV GIS switching equipment will be placed in a new separately constructed instrument building next to the existing 20/10 kV instrument building. The old open switch field will later be dismantled in a separate chore.

Delivery includes 110 kV GIS equipment to be housed in the new dive hall with peripherals. The content of the delivery is described in more detail in the Annex to Project Description Savilahti GIS.
