Planning services for the renovation, new construction and modernization of the IBA-Terrassen-Lot 2: New construction: Glass Energy Center Reconstruction / modernization: IBA-Terrassenhäuser 1-3 and Studierhaus

In house 1 there is a low-threshold gastronomic offer and an exhibition section in combination with a multi-purpose room for the visitor center. For this purpose, the installation of an acoustic ceiling in the guest room is planned. The height of the window on the south side is increased. By separating the heating system for all buildings on the IBA terraces, new house technology must be installed. For this purpose, 2 technical rooms will be created on the upper floor of house 1. A conversion of house 2 of the IBA terraces is planned. This benefits a potential "coworking space". It is planned to use project rooms for science and education, as well as culture / art in combination with the IBA study house. The installation of mobile wall elements is planned to create jobs. Rooms for sanitary, technology, office and catering (tea kitchen) are on the upper floor.

Directed. These are realized through firmly anchored walls. In order to establish a connection from the ground floor to the upper floor, a spiral staircase is planned in the break room. Air conditioning units are installed in the ceilings in the building and, as in house 1, the house technology is also renewed. House 3 is to be upgraded as a modern meeting point (communication location). House 3 must be upgraded to a modern conference facility (including room acoustics and air conditioning). Furthermore, the renovation of the current catering area and the

Warehouse planned on the ground floor. The installation of a gangway above the catering, storage and technology area is planned on the upper floor. Sanitary facilities are being built in the newly created area. The house technology also needs to be replaced, as in houses 1 and 2.

The Studierhaus was the former headquarters of the international building exhibition "Fürst-Pückler-Land" GmbH (IBA) and was converted into a documentation and conference center after the end of 2010. The house offers a library, a media archive and a conference room as well as some accommodation options. In particular, energy-related modernization measures, the creation of disability-friendly facilities and the modernization of the sanitary facilities are required on the building.

The glass energy center is to become a local heating network from renewable energies. This includes an ice store, the use of sea water and a heat pump with geothermal probes.

The aim is to supply the entire area of the IBA Terraces campus with energy and house technology. The energy center is to be linked to the planned visitor tunnel (lot 3). This enables visitors to vividly experience and understand the structural change that is significant in Lusatia, from energy generation from coal to the use of sustainable resources.

The subject of the services advertised here are planning services for the conversion and modernization of terrace houses 1-3 and the IBA study house, as well as for the new construction of the glass energy center.
