The construction of our new iconic building to housethe Faculty of Engineering and Computing (ECB) at Coventry University is nearing completion, and the faculty is due to move into the new building in the summer of 2012. The lower two floors of the buildingare dedicated to specialist laboratories, workshop areas and a machining centre. To equip this centre and make it the focus of a high performance engineering centre, the faculty intends to purchase a range of high performance computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tools.

These tools will be able to accommodate skilled machinists and students with little or no experience, and have links to design software and metrology.
