The Pathology Department at Oslo University Hospital will procure 2 medical microscopes and wants options for 15 units. In addition, options for 8 lab microscopes are required.

The Pathology Department at Oslo University Hospital will procure 2 medical microscopes for microscopy of cell and tissue samples during routine operations for diagnostics and research. The microscope must also be able to be used to produce good quality images for research and/or diagnostic documentation. An option for 15 units is desired.

In addition, the department would like options for 8 laboratory microscopes for microscopy of cell and tissue samples during routine operations, primarily to assess the quality of finished sections with regard to colour quality, thickness and the need for polarisation.

This is a new notice for a previously cancelled tender contest. Only documents from the current call for tenders are to be used.

The contest includes two sets of requirement specifications and price forms, one set for a medical microscope and one for a lab microscope. A response to the service part is only required in the requirements specification for the medical microscope, but is assumed to apply to both.

Tenderers must take part in a demonstration and arrange for testing at our premises during weeks 37-38, 2023. Upon agreement, tenderers must be able to provide equipment that is identical to that which is offered. Minor deviations may be acceptable, but must be agree on beforehand. Minor deviations are defined by the contracting authority as deviations that, in the opinion of the contracting authority, do not make any difference in the evaluation.
