Sokndal municipality invites tenderers to an open tender contest for a contract with a consulting engineering company for the completion of engineering design services for the project "flood tunnel in Sokndal municipality".

Sokndal municipality has worked with alternative solutions related to the problem of flooding for many years. The project has been worked in different phases and we are now entering phase 4 in which the aim is further planning and engineering design of the flood tunnel alternative that is being prepared in collaboration with NVE. There will be a need for a project manager with competence in flood diversion using tunnels. The project also necessitates work with procurements, impact assessment, concession applications and zoning work in relation to PBL. Competence in the relevant legislation such as Water Resource law and Planning and Construction law.
