The national roads authority ("the contracting authority") is acting as a central purchasing body in respect ofa single-operator framework agreement ("the framework agreement") for the provision of multidisciplinary consultancy services for roads related projects ("the services") with an anticipated duration of 2 years, with a possible extension, at the sole discretion of the Contracting Authority, for a further 12 months.

The list of public bodies that will be entitled (but not obliged) to draw down services from the framework agreement in accordance with the rules of the framework agreement are set out in Section I.2 of this contract notice.

The services required are consultancy services to carry out health and safety site inspections, incl. temporary safety measures inspections, on the national road network on behalf of the national roads authority.

It is anticipated that between 5 and 10 call-off contracts may be awarded in the first year of the framework agreement.
