The call for tenders concerns the transport of deceased persons ordered by the police in South Karelia (Parikkala, Rautjärvi, Ruokolahti, Imatra, Lappeenranta, Lemi, Luumäki, Savitaipale and Taipalsaari). The acquisition targets:

1. Emergency transport where the deceased is transported from his / her location to the deceased's storage room or directly to the autopsy site. In 2018, there have been 314 emergency transportations per year. The shipment must include the waiting time due to police or health care activities. In 2018, there were 39 expected deliveries, of which 32 were 0.5 hours long. The waiting times were approximately 0.5-1.5 hours. During the new contract period, the driver may leave the deceased to the care of a health care provider in the event that the deceased remains in a temporary storage facility. The transportation volumes for the previous contract period reflect the estimated estimated acquisition volume, which may differ from the actual volume.
