Quality protection:

RAL-RG 637 steel scaffolding, quality assurance

A durable surface with bumps in the range of +/-10 cm is provided. Concerns regarding the subsurface, the intended design and the possibility of anchoring and support must be communicated to the client immediately. The contractor must inform himself about the exact location of obstacles, such as cables, cables, channels, marketing, etc., and, if necessary, obtain a digging permit from the legal entities.

Unless described in detail in the list of services, the contractor undertakes to agree with the customer on site before performing the service in order to guarantee the scaffolding according to the requirements of the parties involved in the construction.

The control distance of the scaffolds from the outer wall is generally 20 cm, and 35 cm from the finished wall for façade cladding with larger elements (profiled sheets, glass facades).

If tubular steel scaffolds are advertised, the bidder is generally free to provide system scaffolding. System scaffolding must have approval.

They may only be built according to this approval.

It is not possible to freely choose the scaffolding by the bidder or contractor (pipe scaffolding or system scaffolding) if the corresponding part of DIN 4420 is referred to in the tender text or if the corresponding abbreviations of DIN 4420 are used.

The identification of the façade, room and supporting scaffolds with the name of the company operating up, including telephone number and area-related usage weight is indispensable.

This does not replace the marking according to DIN 4420-1.

Construction management may require the construction management to cover scaffolding with foil in order to exclude chimney effect in unfavorable conditions.

Metal scaffolding must be ground against static charge.

Aerial work platforms used in live lines (low voltage) must be insulated up to 1,000 V.

If only partial areas of buildings are installed, must be measured according to No. 5.1.2 DIN 18451.
