Description:

The purpose of the contract is to identify, quantify and explain, on the basis of sound economic theory and econometric techniques, the effects of competition, as proxied by different competition indicators, on market outcomes in the telecoms sector. The study will be divided into 2 phases:

1) first phase, to identify and test a methodology for the econometric analysis to be carried out; and

2) second phase, to identify, quantify and explain the causal relationship between competition and market outcomes, to be carried out by using the methodology identified in the first phase of the study.
