At its headquarters in Bayreuth, built in 1978, the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Nordbayern intends to carry out the energy-efficient renovation of the outer shells, examine the feasibility of a photovoltaic system on the roofs of the head office and renovate the interior of the main building.

The subject of the contract are property planning services for buildings and interiors in accordance with § 33 ff HOAI 2021, LPH 1 to 9.

The measures to be carried out are, in particular, the energetic upgrading of the exterior façade and the roof with insulation in accordance with applicable regulations (GEG) as well as the interior renovation. The measure includes, among other things, the replacement of the sheet metal and natural stone façade over seven storeys as well as the replacement of the aluminium windows with sun protection and internal glare protection based on the already renovated south building façade (sandstone façade, plastic windows with aluminium shell on the outside, aluminium louvre sun protection and internal vertical lamella), as well as an examination of the feasibility of a photovoltaic system on the roofs of the head office. In the course of the measure, the surfaces (floors, walls) in the interior are to be renewed floor by floor. The work must be carried out during ongoing operations and the renewals must be carried out floor by floor. At the same time, the impairment for employees must be kept as low as possible.

The award negotiation is expected to take place in September 2023. The award of the contract and the immediately following project start in the fourth quarter. Completion is scheduled for spring 2027.
