The Situational Awareness Command and Control Delivery Team (‘SACC’), part of the UK Ministry of Defence, has placed a contract with Ultra Electronics Ltd, for the provision of spares and repairs relating to an integral part of the Link 16 tactical data information link. This contract was placed with Ultra Electronics Ltd, using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice pursuant to Article 28 (1)(e) of Directive 2009/81/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (Regulations 16 (1)(a)(ii) of the Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations 2011). This contract could only be placed with Ultra Electronics Ltd due to the specific technical know-how and knowledge that they possess in respect of the system.

Contract for the tasking of repairs for DLPS and the initial purchase of spares with an option to provide additional spares if required.
