The project is a complete renovation of the existing entrance. These include:

— a new reception/security building for the purpose,

— new guardhouse,

— two canopies over the entry and exit lanes,

— a new night gate,

— PV on the roof of the building and on the two canopies,

— a new roundabout in front of the entrance,

— new limited parking spaces in front of the entrance,

— renovation of the obsolete upper layers of the existing asphalt road in front of the entrance,

As part of the project, the existing facilities will be modernised to meet the safety, energy and building requirements of the European Commission.
