The LVR is planning on the premises of the LVR hospital in Essen, Wickenburg-

street 21, 45147 Essen, the new building of a day hospital for child and adolescent psychiatry with a total of 20 seats, spread over two floors. The site on Wickenburgstraße already includes several psychiatric hospital

buildings, including a ward building for child and adolescent psychiatry, a therapy building, two day clinics and an outpatient clinic.

There is a valid development plan for the city of Essen no. 9/95 (Wickenburgstraße, city of Essen) for the property, which includes a special area for the clinic. The corresponding textual specifications of the development plan must be adhered to in the future. This includes, in particular, the regulation that the areas of stationary traffic are limited to special areas above ground. All other required parking spaces must be realized in underground car parks.

According to the depiction of the contaminated site register of the city of Essen, there is an area within the planned area contaminated with environmentally hazardous substances, consisting of spills mainly with construction waste from war-destroyed buildings with a thickness of up to 17.O m. to accompany you. The site will be accessed through a dead end street with turning roundabout, where the possible construction site for the planned day hospital is also located. Due to the moving topography of the site, a site visit is recommended.

The budget for the new building is approximately €5,600,000 gross, including all construction costs. The building is to be constructed using passive house construction, and sustainability aspects must be taken into account. The accessibility criteria must also be taken into account.
