Delivery of electrical energy (green electricity) to SLP consumption points for the city of Braunschweig and other participants (municipal companies)

The city of Braunschweig needs electrical energy for the operation of the buildings and other operating facilities. The procurement procedure is also being followed by the Städtische Klinikum Braunschweig gGmbH, Hafenbetriebsgesellschaft Braunschweig mbH and Braunschweig Zukunft GmbH as well as Braunschweiger Stadtmarketing GmbH, Volkshochschule Braunschweig mbH. In the following, the parties involved in the call for tenders are grouped under the generic term "participants".

This means that only the electricity demand at the SLP consumption points is put out to tender. The collection points are all located in the TenneT TSO GmbH control area and in the network area of Braunschweiger Netz GmbH. The annual consumption of the participants is around 6.8 million kWh at 760 consumption points.

The procurement and supply of electrical energy is awarded to all consumption points together.

For delivery to the delivery points, it is required that 100% of the delivery volume comes from systems with regenerative raw materials (green electricity).
