Integrated dermatology service aims to provide patients with a high quality, safe and efficient service which improves outcomes, making best use of available resources. This integrated dermatology service will include, but not be limited to, provision of all dermatological care for patients at the hospital described in the model, including the provision of related demand management and triage, e.g. teledermoscopy or another triage model to deliver these outcomes, and dermatology related cancer and plastics services. This service model will be supported by patient-focused outcomes based on incentivised prime contractor or integrator model. The Provider will be accountable for the delivery of high quality patient focused clinical care that empowers patients to manage their health as well as being accountable for the financial management of all dermatology care, which will be delivered within the total budget made available by the Commissioner to the contract holder, the Provider.
