In 2012, the province tendered a Management &Maintenance Agreement as a whole under the name "Managing Agent Waterwolf- en Abdijtunnel & Amstel Aqueduct". The activities of the incumbent Managing Agent will run until 21 October 2023. The tender to be completed for this purpose will lead to the selection of a new Managing Agent. In the event that the 'incumbent' Managing Agent is not re-appointed, the Client provides that the selected Managing Agent as Contractor will be accompanied free of charge in the support of the 'incumbent' Managing Agent for a maximum of six months until 21 April 2024, in a transferable sense. The need, form and implementation of this support will be worked out by the new Managing Agent in the 1st week after contract signing.
