Description:

Framework Agreement for the provision of analytical support and production of programme reports for the NHS Getting it Right First Time (GIRFT) programme. More details are contained within the Selection Questionnaire documents available for download from https://procontract.due-north.com

Getting it Right First Time (GIRFT) is a national programme hosted by Royal National Orthopaedic NHS Trust (RNOH) designed to improve medical care in the NHS. Through innovative use of data to reduce unwarranted variations in the way services are delivered across the NHS, and by sharing best practice between trusts, GIRFT identifies changes that will help improve care and patient outcomes, as well as delivering efficiencies such as the reduction of unnecessary procedures and cost savings.

GIRFT workstreams are required to produce a serious of reports identifying the outcomes of their investigations culminating in the production of recommendations for action that will then be required of NHS trusts. Specified reports — these are Provider Level Reviews (PLRs) and National Workstream Reports (NWRs) that are specified in more detail in Section B of the Invitation to Tender document:

— regular analytical outputs related to GIRFT workstreams that use the metrics and information from the PLRs and National Workstream Reports. These are listed but not specified in Section B. There is no expectation that these products will form part of this tender — the list is included in Section B for information only,

— ad-hoc requirements for analytical support. Examples are provided but specifications for these products and outputs would be created as the need for these products arise,

— the successful supplier(s) is not likely to be required to support production of all analytical outputs and reports. Those for which full support for production will be required are also detailed in Section B.

The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for 2 years from the Framework Agreement start date and may be extended for up to a maximum of 2 years by the Authority at its discretion.
