Bergen, Modalen, Osterøy, Samnanger, and Øygarden Municipalities, as well as Bergen Church Council and Betanien rehabilitation and nursing home have entered into a new framework agreement for paint, painting products, painting equipment, and logically associated products. Askøy Municipality reserves the right to join the contract if the tenderer has a sales outlet in Askøy or in west Bergen. The contract will not apply for the municipal company Øygarden Bustadutvikling KF.

For Bergen Municipality, the contract will primarily cover the need of Bergen Municipality's internal painter department under the Agency for Building and Property. The contract will, thus, primarily cover a professional need.

Paint products that will be used on historical and listed buildings, including linseed oil products that do not include alkyd oil or solvents, and which have a non-volatile matter of 90% or higher, will not be included in the contract.
