The services consist of carrying out structural diagnostics of the reinforced® earth walls located on the concessioned motorway network operated by ASF's Western Operations Department.
The purpose of the contract is to carry out diagnostics of retaining walls made of reinforced embankment with metal elements on motorways in service or in the DPAC on the ASF West network.
Missions include:
- Analysis of the elements of the work file,
- On-site investigations: carrying out a detailed inspection of the wall, extracting durability indicators for structures equipped with them, identifying reinforcement with radar, carrying out core drilling for reinforcement sampling, sampling of backfill
- Laboratory tests: on reinforcement: visual observation and measurement of residual thickness of galvanization, tensile test, on embankments: water content, chloride and sulphate ion assays, sulphate content, pH measurements, determination of resistivity,
- Submission of a study report with an opinion on the condition of the structure (IQOA note) and maintenance recommendations (one report per structure).
As an indication, there are about 4 to 5 wall diagnoses per year spread over the entire perimeter (ASF West network).
