The Patent Office shall, as a national competence centre, contribute to more good rights and better use of immaterial values. There is a great need for increased knowledge and consciousness on good use of immaterial rights.

The Patent Office is in the process of formulating the strategy that will apply from 2023. We already know that we will use the sub-goals from the current strategy period. These are:

1) More good rights and

2) Better use of immaterial values.

The Patent Office will, through its digital presence, contribute to supporting these sub-goals. This also includes prioritising the final user of our websites. The Patent Office is a competence centre for immaterial rights. The website is the Patent Office's most important point of contact with customers. Our customers must get what they need in order to make good assessments around monopoly, when they need it, where they are.

The Patent Office will now update and further develop our website 'www.patentstyret.no' and needs assistance with this work. The project, which we have called 'Web Lift' shall deliver a uniform digital customer journey through improvements of the content and flow in a flexible and future-orientated CMS system.
