On county road 882, on the stretch between the junction E6 Langfjordbotn and Øksfjord in Loppa

Municipality, avalanche measures are to be constructed in order to secure access to Øksfjord and

the ferry quays to Hasvik, Tverrfjord, Bergsfjord, and Sandland.

The protection measures consist of catch fences and stiff supporting steel retaining walls that are to be constructed

at 4 different locations from Øksfjordbotn out towards Øksfjord.

Stiff supporting retaining walls: 360 metres with a height of 4 metres.

Catch fences: 92 metres with a height of 5 metres.

Seivikbukta:

Stiff supporting retaining walls: 334 metres with a height of 4 metres

74 metres with a height of 5 metres.

Catch fences: 135 metres with a height of 4 metres.

Hamnbukt/Stranda:

Stiff supporting retaining walls: 900 metres with a height of 4 metres

1628 metres with a height of 5 metres.

Catch fences: 66 metres with a height of 5 metres.

Bukta:

Stiff supporting retaining walls: 406 metres with a height of 4 metres.

626 metres with a height of 5 metres.

Catch fences: 166 metres with a height of 4 metres.
