The Peine police station is located in a residential area north-east of Peine's city centre at Schäferstraße 87.

In addition to the administration building, which is located along Schäferstraße, there is a former caretaker's house, two garage buildings, one of which has a basement, and a precast concrete building in which the emergency power system is located on the grounds of the police station. At the south-eastern corner of the property there is a parking space, which is not bordered by the property enclosure.

Furthermore, as part of the measure, a new garage with 5 garages for company cars is to be built on the property.

Since the construction of the property in 1976, hardly any maintenance and investment measures have been carried out, so that the property - especially the administration building - is in poor condition, both structurally and technically, which has repeatedly led to operational problems in recent years.

The complete renovation of the Peine police station focuses on the administration building for the planning and execution of the supply technology.

The building will be cleared for the construction work, so that the construction work will not be carried out during ongoing operations.

The aim of the refurbishment is to create the highest possible functional utility value with appropriate design standards, up-to-dateness in terms of safety and high energy efficiency. For this purpose, considerable interventions in the entire building fabric of the property are required.

The cost ceiling for the construction project is EUR 12,832,056 gross. The costs mentioned include cost groups 200 to 600 according to DIN 276-1:2008-12.

KG 410 sewage, water, gas systems:

The complete renovation of the administration building essentially includes the renovation of the toilet facilities, sanitary facilities of the changing rooms and shower areas as well as kitchenettes including the complete water and sewage network. Provision should be made for the restructuring of sanitary centres, changing rooms, kitchenettes and other rooms to be connected to the water/sewage network.

KG 420 heat supply systems:

The existing heating system, including the existing district heating pipes, will be completely dismantled. A holistic concept for the heating of the property must be planned and implemented in compliance with the requirements of the legal regulations.

KG 430 Ventilation systems:

A holistic indoor climate concept of the administration building in accordance with the requirements of the space program (as well as valid regulations, e.g. with regard to occupational safety) as well as a sensible and feasible accommodation of the plant technology on the property must be planned.

KG 480 Building and plant automation:

The building technology systems to be planned are to be controlled, regulated and monitored by means of new automation equipment to be built. Furthermore, the requirements and scope of the automation technology must be compared and planned with the specifications of the room book sheets and the LKA requirements. A building management system must be included in the planning.
