The National Service for Cultural Heritage (RCE) challenges entrepreneurs, the creative and the innovative sector to develop insulation solutions that contribute in an innovative and aesthetic way to the reduction of CO2 emissions from monumental buildings.
Making buildings more sustainable is high on the political agenda. The standard methods for doing this are not always applicable to monuments, while the sustainability of monuments is also necessary to meet the climate goals. At the same time these buildings are made future-proof. The challenge is: how can we make it more sustainable in a beautiful way that does justice to the monumental values of a building? A way that might even add quality to the monument.
The client sets a total budget of up to €200,000 (including VAT) for phase 1 of this SBIR. The maximum amount per feasibility study (phase 1) is €25,000 (including VAT). Only the proposals that have completed the feasibility study with good results can be invited to make an offer for phase 2.
The budget for phase 2 that the client makes available is a maximum of €600,000 (including VAT).
