Description:
20D0045 - New police headquarters Rheinpfalz in Ludwigshafen / Rhein - test statics and reinforcement acceptance

The services of the contractor include the structural analysis of the structural planning of a building construction (static calculation, construction drawings, earthquake protection in earthquake zone 1) according to LVO, the checking of other services such as foundation construction, as well as the construction supervision from a structural and structural point of view.

The state of Rhineland-Palatinate plans to build a new police headquarters in the city center of Ludwigshafen / Rhein. Due to the exposed location in terms of urban planning and the desired high design quality, which at the same time has to take into account the accommodation on a narrow plot with high security requirements for a modern police headquarters, a restricted realization competition was held.

The property on Heinigstrasse has an area of approximately 4,360 square meters. It is located on a multi-lane main traffic axis, in the immediate vicinity is the elevated road that connects the cities of Ludwigshafen and Mannheim. The property is surrounded on two sides by multi-storey buildings. Areas for construction site equipment and delivery are only available to a very limited extent.

The new building will have an area of approx. 10 500 sqm NUF 1-6. The plans envisage a building with three basement levels. The base of the excavation pit is around 15 m below GOK, the groundwater table requires permanent water drainage in the excavation pit. The installation should take the form of a diaphragm wall. In order to be able to make optimal use of the property size, the shoring also represents lost formwork for the basement walls. Backward anchorages also remain in the floor. Since the subsoil partially has contaminations> Z2 according to LAGA, the construction of the excavation takes a long time.

The building construction itself consists of 2 parts of the building. The lower part has a height of around 28.75 m with eight floors, the high part has a height of around 44.15 m with twelve floors. The 2 structures are shifted from each other.

The order includes the inspection of the daily planning as well as the construction (reinforcement inspection) of the new building.

The estimated total costs are approximately EUR 92.5 million.
