Due to the condition of the structure, the Federal Republic of Germany is planning the replacement of the "Sterbecke" viaduct in the course of the A 45. The structure is located in the section between the junctions Lüdenscheid-Nord and Hagen-Süd, directly north of the junction Lüdenscheid-Nord.
As part of the replacement building, the future traffic volume with a 6-lane expansion of the A 45 will be taken into account. The carriageway in the direction of Dortmund will be expanded to three lanes and the carriageway in the direction of Frankfurt will be renewed to three lanes. A hard shoulder is provided in both directions.

Construction management, construction supervision (Lot 1)The present service description includes the construction management and the construction supervision (BOL/ BÜ) for the construction lots 1 to 4 of the replacement of the Sterbecke viaduct (BF1: main measure, BF2: traffic safety work, BF3: vehicle restraint systems, BF4: marking work).
Furthermore, there are coordination and interface tasks with the replacement of the TB Rahmende (south of TB Sterbecke), which was carried out at the same time.
Construction supervision of surveying (Lot 2)The present service description contains the surveying construction supervision for the construction lots 1 to 4 of the replacement of the Sterbecke viaduct (BF1: main measure, BF2: traffic safety work, BF3: vehicle restraint systems, BF4: marking work).
