The purpose of the procurement is to supply the work clothes and accessories of the employees acting as pilot and pilot chauffeur to Finnpilot Pilotage Oy in accordance with the terms and conditions defined in this invitation to tender and its annexes. See Appendix 1 for a more detailed description.
As an option, the contracting entity can purchase safety footwear, bespoke products, and so-called innerwear from the supplier for its employees. The tenderer must have in his selection at least the following products:
- Fleeces, collars and t-shirts, beanies and caps.
The general requirements for the services required of the workwear supplier to be procured are described in Annex 1 to the invitation to tender.
Purchase included outerwear and protective clothing for the work of pilots and cuttermen for approximately 300 Finnpilot employees. The amounts are uncommitted. The final order quantities depend on the number of staff and the lifetime of the workwear to be purchased.
Finnpilot's workwear is renewed at least three (3) years. Initially, the purchase volumes are expected to be higher than normal as the workwear collection is renewed. The entire company stock is expected to be renewed within one year of signing the contract.
As part of their tender, the tenderer must provide samples of the required work clothes. Samples shall be supplied at the express request of the contracting entity after the submission of the tender. Samples will only be requested from qualified bidders.
The test batch includes a jacket, a winter jacket, trousers and stretch trousers in sizes L and XL. On the basis of the samples, the contracting entity shall assess whether the requirements have been met. In addition, the samples will be used as part of the qualitative evaluation of the tenders (for further details, see the section of the call for tenders, Criteria for decision making). Compensation will be paid for making samples.
The submission of a tender is subject to acceptance of the model contract annexed to the invitation to tender. Hansel Oy has a consultative role in tendering.
