The task concerns the collection of waste from households, etc., in Slagelse Municipality. The collection includes the fractions of food waste, residual waste, cardboard, paper, metal, glass, plastic, food and beverage cartons.

The waste is picked up primarily from 2- or 4-wheeled waste containers that may be either two-piece or undivided. In this connection, batteries and small electronics waste are collected in “bags on lids” and dispensed rolls of plastic bags for food waste.

In addition, waste is picked up from various common systems that are emptied by crane. This applies to both wholly or partially buried containers and containers placed above ground such as mini containers, tilting containers, cubes and the like.
