The revised Noise Protection Ordinance of 15.12.1986 (as at 1.4.2018) regulates the noise abatement of roads in addition to the Environmental Protection Act of 7.101983.

For the noise reduction of the windows in the city of Zurich, the procedure as defined in the "Guide to the compulsory installation of windows as of 15.5.2019 / Version 3.0" applies.
