The subject of the contract is a service consisting in the collection of municipal waste and its management from owners of real estate inhabited and uninhabited in the Szerzyny Commune, in a manner ensuring the achievement of appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for re-use and recovery by other methods and reduction of the weight of biodegradable municipal waste sent to landfill. The expected amount of waste collected in 2024 is 1300 MG.
owners of real estate inhabited and uninhabited in the Szerzyny Commune, in a manner ensuring the achievement of appropriate levels of recycling, preparation for re-use and recovery by other methods and limiting the weight of municipal biodegradable waste sent to landfill, in accordance with the Act of 13 September 1996 on maintaining cleanliness and order in municipalities (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1469), provisions of Resolution No. V/34/19 of the Małopolska Regional Assembly of January 28, 2019 regarding the amendment of Resolution No. XI/125/03 of the Małopolska Regional Assembly of August 25, 2003 regarding the "Waste Management Plan of the Malopolska Region for the years 2016-2022 and the provisions of the Regulations for Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in the Szerzyny Commune.
The area of the Szerzyny Commune is 82 km2. The population registered as of 30 July 2023 was 7696 people. So far, the collection of municipal waste covers about 1900 households located in 5 villages of the Szerzyny commune: Szerzyny, Ołpiny, Czermna, Żurowa, Swoszowa.
Uninhabited properties on which municipal waste is generated in the Szerzyny Commune are in particular:
1. Primary schools - 5,
2. Kindergartens – 3,
3. Health centres – 3,
4. Roman Catholic parishes – 5,
5. Parish cemeteries – 6,
6. TSO fire stations – 6,
7. Business activities, companies (shops, sawmills, manufacturing companies, wholesalers, eateries, service stations, pharmacies, etc.) - approx. 125.
The contractor will have permanent limited access to the current list of uninhabited properties on which waste is generated, in order to be able to operate these properties.
Note: The property quantity given is an approximate number. The Ordering Party reserves the right to change the number of waste collection points. Their number during the term of the contract may change.
The amount of waste exported in 2022 is 673.48 Mg of non-segregated waste and approx. 606.919 Mg of segregated waste (paper, glass, plastics, metal, bulky waste, waste electrical and electronic equipment).
The subject of the contract is not the collection of liquid waste, waste of unknown origin, waste with a composition not compliant with the requirements for waste trading. Collection, disposal and management of waste should be carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the Provincial Waste Management Plan, the Municipal Waste Management Plan, the Regulations for Maintaining Cleanliness and Order in the Municipality of Szerzyny and the applicable provisions of Polish law.
Note: The amount of waste generated and collected from the Szerzyny commune does not depend on the Ordering Party. The above amounts of waste should be regarded as indicative. The Contractor is not entitled to additional remuneration or compensation for the collection of generated waste in other quantities.
2. The scope of the object of the order includes the reception and development of:
2.1. Collection and management of mixed non-segregated municipal waste with code 20 03 01 collected in bags or containers, located at residential buildings, workplaces, commercial outlets and service points, schools, institutions and other entities as well as on streets and squares,
2.2. Collection and management of segregated (selectively collected) waste: paper, metals, plastics, school, multi-material packaging waste, biodegradable waste.
2.3. From the Selective Municipal Waste Collection Point in Szerzyny.
2.4. In addition, furniture and other bulky waste should additionally be collected at the waste collection point 2 times a year according to the agreed schedule.
