SWEG Südwestdeutsche Landsverkehrs-GmbH (SWEG for short, hereinafter also referred to as the vergabestelle) is a transport company with state participation and, together with subsidiaries, operates regular bus services in the urban and intercity area (ÖPNV) as well as rail passenger transport (SPNV) in numerous regions of Baden-Württemberg.

For the upcoming redesign of Regio Shuttle class 650 combustion railcars, SWEG intends to procure passenger seats in the state design of Baden-Württemberg.

The subject of the tender is the production and delivery of new passenger seats with fabric / leather combination in the "Landesdesign Baden-Württemberg" as part of maintenance.

In detail, the order includes the production and delivery of fixed and folding seats, including handles and armrests, on 20 Regio Shuttle Class 650 combustion railcars plus reserve seats in accordance with the specifications.

The seats must be equivalent to the currently installed Eco010 seat so that they can be declared as a spare part for maintenance in accordance with Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/545 Article 16(1).

The fire protection of all components must be proven in accordance with DIN EN 45545-2 HL2.
