EWE Trading would like to outsource the provision of IT services within the framework of service and application management to an external service provider. In doing so, the services necessary for the provision of these services should at least be aligned with the ITIL framework and bindingly agreed with the contractor.

EWE TRADING is currently in the process of modernising its IT landscape with several projects. Several applications are migrated to the cloud or newly developed there. With the help of the implemented business processes, the relevant energy trading processes of EWE Trading are mapped. The microservices in the AWS or on-premise environment provide the necessary interfaces. This also includes the IDA and ENDUR applications.

The application landscape will change significantly over the next few years. Approximately 20 new software solutions are implemented or adapted each year. Support for these applications and processes will also be outsourced. The scope of the support to be provided by the contractor depends on the respective application used.
