Realization of a functional NRW joint stand
for trade fairs of the food industry 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026
In order to support the small and medium-sized structured food industry in NRW as well as to present itself to the professional public, the Ministry of the Environment, Agriculture, Nature Conservation and Consumer Protection of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (MULNV) participates in trade fairs for the food industry, in particular BIOFACH and Anuga. If the interest of the economy is appropriate, this should take the form of the organization of joint company stands. The BIOFACH takes place annually in February in Nuremberg, the Anuga every 2 years in October in Cologne. The MULNV plans to participate in BIOFACH every year with its own joint stand; if necessary, a separate joint stand is also planned for Anuga 2025.
The participation of the MULNV in the trade fairs depends on the annual availability of appropriate budgetary resources and, in particular, on the participation of the exhibitors.
It is intended to issue a framework agreement for the period from the award of the contract for the implementation of BIOFACH 2023 (14 to 17 February 2023) and for the implementation of further trade fairs for the food industry in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
The use of the respective calls for the trade fair realization for BIOFACH 2024, 2025 and 2026 will be made by 15 July of the previous year at the latest and, if applicable, by 15 July of the previous year and, if applicable. for Anuga 2025 by 30.12.2024 at the latest.
In accordance with the annual framework conditions (participating exhibitors and space allocation by Nürnbergmesse), the contractor must draw up an area plan based on the client's specifications, which takes into account as far as possible the wishes of the participating exhibitors, but also the technical requirements and conditions on site. Subsequently, the necessary approvals must be obtained, the company-specific requirements and wishes must be queried, and the stand must be handed over to the stand management (MULNV) on the day before the start of the trade fair.
For the year 2023, the MULNV will soon register a joint stand at BIOFACH in Nuremberg. For BIOFACH, an exhibitor acquisition usually takes place in April/May, with which the exhibitors report their interest in participating. For each year, Nürnbergmesse announces the areas planned for the state of NRW in the summer.

- Creation of the design draft of a joint company stand with attached NRW guest lounge
- The planning creation of a distribution plan for lounge, company, storage rooms and office
- The planning of a NRW guest lounge, in which drinks will be served during the entire duration of the fair as well as various freshly prepared dishes from the exhibiting companies at lunchtime.
- The implementation of the design and structural realization of a functional joint company stand with attached NRW guest lounge.
- The participation of the project manager in a central exhibitor meeting.
- Debt collection procedure for the collection of financial exhibitor contributions for trade fair construction.
- The dismantling and storage of elements that are suitable for multiple use in subsequent years as well as the possible disposal of elements at the end of the respective trade fair or, in the case of multiple use, at the end of the contract period.
- Transport of exhibitors' materials to Nuremberg
