The subject of the assignment is the study assignment for the redevelopment of the N42 regional road in Geraardsbergen. The project area comprises on the one hand the transit zone Astridlaan (roundabout Geuzenhoek - N42 x N495, kmpt. 27 - 25.6) and on the other hand the zone up to the railway crossing (N42 x N495 - railway crossing, kmpt. 25.6 - 24.75). A preliminary design study has already been done for this project area. This assignment initially includes updating and, where necessary, revising the existing preliminary design and the preliminary design plans. Regarding sewerage, a feasibility study is initially expected for the above-mentioned segment of the N42. The design consists of the further elaboration of the approved preliminary design to detailed design level, both road and sewerage, together with the preparation and submission of the environmental permit file.
