The tendered contract is intended to ensure effective and cost-effective provision of laboratory logistics services (sample transport services) within the nationwide network of Labor Berlin over the duration of the contract.

The selected bidder has to provide daily scheduled tours between the labs and the laboratory of Labor Berlin at Campus Virchow Klinikum as well as the customers of Labor Berlin Services in the city of Berlin according to the specifications of the tender documents (lot 1).

Part of the tender (lot 2) are ad-hoc trips and regional single trips. Ad hoc journeys are journeys between the reception centers mentioned in the tender documents and the Central Laboratory of Labor Berlin or other reception points specified in the tender documents, which are requested individually by the client by telephone. In addition, the selected bidder in Lot 2 has to provide and carry out regional single trips for defined kilometer spreads between the central lab of Labor Berlin and the labs, customers or business partners of Labor Berlin and Labor Berlin Services in the Berlin city and surrounding area.

Part of the tender (lot 3) are national tours and overnight trips between the central laboratory of Labor Berlin and customers or other business partners of Labor Berlin and Labor Berlin Services. The current trips are to be taken from the tender documents. In this respect, the selected bidder must offer and carry out nationwide tours and overnight trips for defined kilometer spreads.
