Every two years, the City of Aarhus, Health and Care Services draws up a housing plan that, based on the development of demographics and developments in the health of the elderly, determines the need in the building area. The number of elderly people is increasing and the elderly are living longer. Therefore, there is a need to expand the capacity of nursing homes if the municipality's service level is to be maintained and the housing guarantee guaranteed. In the housing plan 2017, it was decided that the care center Hørgården in Risskov will be expanded with 27 new nursing homes.
The assignment includes the establishment of 27 new nursing homes with associated service area in connection with the care center Hørgården in Risskov. A total of approx. 2 240 m2 and an area for glass connection corridor.
The approx. 2 240 m2 is divided into 2 condominiums:
- living areas, include private housing and communal living areas,
- Service areas.
Living areas include 27 x 72m
Service areas are calculated as 15% of the living space = 292m
Total consultancy services including architectural, landscape and engineering services are required according to the tender material.
