Koblenzer Bäder GmbH is planning the construction of a new indoor pool and sauna with gastronomy, located in the district of Rauental, Moselbogen. The bath and sauna will receive a usable area of approx. 11,000 m² (BFG). The enclosed space is approx. 59,000 m³.

The elongated, cuboid structure is oriented lengthways from south to north in 3 functional areas of different heights. The first, approx. 5 m high structure with changing room, staff area, foyer and cash desk area is located west of the main structure. In the main building there is the bathing hall with five pools, arranged from north to south: children's pool next to teaching pool, sports pool, exercise pool and diving pool.

The subject of this invitation to tender is the construction of a borehole heat exchanger system for this purpose.

The services include in particular:

4,500 m Construction of the energy source borehole

including piping up to a maximum depth of 40 m. Drilling diameter approx. 200 mm, but sufficient drilling depth for probe installation, possible telescoping and pressing: 150 m each.

4,500 m Delivery and installation of a double U-probe, PE-HD plastic pipe PE-HD RC according to DIN 16892/93

5,500 m annular compression of the entire boreholes by injecting a bentonite / twilight water suspension with a thermal conductivity of at least 2.0 W/(mK).
