The aim of the procurement is to transport sitting and lying patients from South Helgeland to Helgeland Hospital in Sandnessjøen, Mo i Rana and Mosjøen. In particular the offer is aimed at patients who, due to medical reasons or due to a lack of public transport, cannot use scheduled transport. Other patients who shall travel for treatment can also use the tender if there is free capacity.

The aim of this procurement is to carry out the assignment with second hand material until summer 2017, after which a longer contract is planned until 2025, based on new buses.
