The contract consists of the provision of security services. These services relate to activities identified in the law of 2.10.2017 regulating private and particular security, chapter II, section 2, article 3, as follows:
1) static guarding of movable or immovable property;
2) mobile guarding of movable and immovable property and intervention after alarm;
4) management of an alarm center;
7) guarding of events;
8) guarding in the middle of outings;
9) the search of movable or immovable property for the purpose of searching for spy devices, weapons, narcotics, explosive substances, substances which can be used for making explosive substances or other dangerous objects;
12) the ordering of technical means determined by the King which are made available to third parties in order to ensure security;
13) the surveillance and control of persons within the framework of maintaining security in places accessible or not to the public, which is not provided for in 6), 7) or 8).
The sites to be monitored include the University's infrastructure, consisting of offices, classrooms, laboratories, workshops, computer rooms, audiences, libraries, museums, housing, restaurants, halls of sports, student animation areas, as well as private spaces accessible to the public such as: squares, streets, green spaces, etc.
The UCLouvain sites to watch are located in Louvain-la-Neuve, Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Saint-Gilles (Brussels), Mons, Tournai, Charleroi, Seneffe.
