Description:
Wind farms at sea (France) - joint DGEC / RTE purchase to carry out geophysical, Uxos and geotechnical investigations at sea and the formalization of technical results

The DGEC and RTE wish to call on a measurement service provider who will carry out geophysical, Uxos and geotechnical studies at sea aimed at preparing future calls for tenders for offshore wind farms (France) installed or floating. This request is part of the construction and connection projects for offshore wind farms mentioned in the 2019-2023 Multi-Year Energy Programming (PPE) project published by the Ministry of Ecological and Inclusive Transition on the site www.ecologique-solidaire.gouv.fr/programmations-pluriannuelles-lenergie-ppe

Carrying out geophysical, Uxos and geotechnical studies at sea for a 1 GW installed wind farm off the coast of Normandy and its connection including the offshore substation (lot 1 - AO4)

The 2019-2023 Multiannual Energy Program (PPE), published by the Ministry of Ecological Transition (MTE), provides for the allocation of a 1 GW wind farm in Normandy. In this context, the General Directorate of Energy and Climate (DGEC) of the MTE and the Electricity Transmission Network (RTE) jointly carry out knowledge studies of the area that will host the offshore wind farm and its connection. The selected measurement service provider will carry out geophysical, Uxos and geotechnical investigations as part of derisking studies for a wind farm and the associated connection. These investigations will provide the necessary knowledge of the wind farm area and the connection corridor in order to define in particular the type of foundations for the wind turbines, the offshore substation, and the routing of the submarine cables of the electrical connection. The samples taken will be subject to laboratory measurements and analyzes, and the results and data transmitted in the form of reports. Estimated value of lot 1: between 4,000,000 and 8,000,000 EUR.
