East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (ELHT) are seeking suitably qualified suppliers to provide radiation protection services and medical physics services, which includes ionising and non ioninsing. There may also be other NHS Trusts who are part of Lancashire Procurement Cluster who may join or wish to obtain quotations from the awarded/successful supplier during the term of the ELHT contract. This may or may not include therefore Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Blackpool Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Foundation Trust.

Radiation protection services and medical physics service (incorporating the use of Ionising and non-ionising radiation) are required at main hospital sites and community settings initially for East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (ELHT). These services cover diagnostic X-ray equipment, ultrasound equipment, isotape imaging equipment, laser equipment, ultra violet equipment and magnetic resonance imaging equipment. Please note that the estimate contract value is based on the potential for other Trusts to come into the procurement. The estimated value for ELHT on its own is approximately 500 000 EUR.
