From software development to data exchange and the operation of data centers and networks to specialist advice: As a managed service provider in the IT market for statutory health insurance, BITMARCK is driving digitization in the industry and for its customers with innovative products and services. In connection with its execution of tasks as a working group according to § 94 a SGB X and the
Clients need services in the area of Microsoft licenses related to the operation of their data centers in the statutory health insurance environment at the main locations in Munich, Hamburg and Essen as well as the operation of the IT infrastructure at their customers.
For this purpose, a Microsoft trading partner framework agreement for the procurement of Microsoft products and license models on the basis of the conditions concluded between the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI), and Microsoft (Microsoft Business and Service Agreements (Enterprise Agreements, Server and Cloud Enrollments) will be put out to tender for the benefit of the clients and/or customers of the BITMARCK Group.
The subject of this invitation to tender is the conclusion of a framework agreement within the meaning of § 21 VgV with a trading partner. The subject matter of the contract is the procurement of all available Microsoft products by the trading partner, taking into account the conditions contracts concluded between the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and Microsoft Ireland (Microsoft Business and Service Contract; Group contract 2021 (Enterprise Agreement On-Premise and Online; Multi EA Agreement; Microsoft Server and Cloud Enrollment Agreement (SCE)) for the benefit of the clients and/or customers of the BITMARCK Group, as well as the provision of related services and consulting services. The requirements of the client are specified via individual call-offs and procured from the licensor via the trading partner. There is no obligation on the part of the clients and/or their customers to accept the Enterprise Agreements and contracts or the specific Microsoft products from the framework agreement.
The trading partner must provide the following services in particular:
- procurement of all available Microsoft products including the corresponding licensing and
Software Assurance, which is provided within the framework of the conditions contracts between the Federal Ministry of the Interior
and Microsoft are covered by the Group Agreement, including the necessary mediation of accessions/accesses to the Terms and Conditions Agreements.
- Advisory and support services related to product and license procurement, licensing and product issues
- provision of any value-added services of the licensor within the scope of license acquisition and license maintenance,
- Support in software asset management and license management,
- Advice and information on optimization options when using possible licensing alternatives during the contract period.
- Advice and support as well as timely announcement of new products and software version changes
- Supporting the client in proof of existing licensing
- Provision and securing access to the existing accounts of the clients in the Licensor's VolumeLicensing Service Center (VLSC website), possibly also new accounts, as well as ensuring access to all
Contracts of clients through the above-mentioned service center.
