The aim of the procurement is to obtain security guard services for KH. A Framework Agreement will be signed with 1 security guard company. The company must see to the obligations that KH has in accordance with the rules in the International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) in the Norwegian regulations (FOR 2013-05-29 nº 538 and FOR 2013-05-29 nº 539 on protecting ports and port facilities from terror attacks). The procurement is mainly for all permanent port security guard services at one of our port facilities, security guard services when cruise ships visit, as well as ordinary security guard services as required. “Ordinary security guard services” can include defect gates, etc.

The security guard's main assignment will be to see to the national requirements in the regulations and the ISPS code, as well as the concrete security measures that are required for each port facility that is a port of call for ships on international routes, including access control, inspections of personnel, searching vehicles and surveillance of the port terminals.
