From 1942 to 1952, an unknown number of munitions were sunk in a pond in the Dethlinger pond and then covered with soil and rubble. The plan is to recover these warfare agents and ordnance. The clearance work is scheduled to begin in August 2023 and last until 2028.

In order to increase the safety of the technical systems and to ensure emergency operation of some of the plant components, it is planned to provide an emergency power generator.
